What the heck is this bullcrap @Bojangles a tablespoon of rice, overcooked old Fries, and RAW UNCOOKED CHICKEN. Absolutely horrendous, i will be lucky not to get salmonella poisoning.
@jeff_gluck On one hand, i think it would be cool to see SVG win by 60+ seconds, but at the same time, someone could take one for the team and wreck him lol.
Sorry, @TheMikeBagley , I love you but completely disagree. The “incentive” of running well isn’t that you get a good group for the following week. The incentive of running well is that’s the job here. You’re supposed to be doing that. The metric has outlived its usefulness. The snowball effect every week is just exhausting because it’s so hard nowadays to climb out of. I’d like a driver to get a new week and new chance as it used to be with a random draw or something else.
@SpotterBrett I agree, but i feel there are so many corrupt politicians and judges, nobody will ever point a finger and bring it up because they’re all corrupt and dont want to bring attention to themselves.
Maybe a cold take here. I dunno
But this should put the nail in the coffin on frontstretch interviews. Denny should’ve been able to soak in that entire moment in AND out of the car. Maybe he did. But the reporter & camera guys waiting there for him is so forced
@MattWeaverRA I think its worth noting, before the last restart, Cleetus’ spotter was trying to help him by telling him not to give the inside car so much space when side by side, he said just enough room for the other car, so that’s exactly what Cleetus did. He is still learning how to race.
@FreddieKraft I would love to see how a race would play out naturally with no stage cautions at a track with tire wear. As soon as the tires really start to wear and make cars fade, its the end of the stage and have to restart the whole sequence.
Stages are NOT needed for TV.
F1 and IndyCar don’t schedule cautions for TV and take away the leaders advantage.
Stage racing is a gimmick designed to manufacture entertainment and it needs to be abolished.
