While no amount of money can ever repay what J.R. and other survivors like her have been through, this verdict is a reminder of what can happen when victims are empowered to speak up and have their voices heard. I commend her for her courage and call on everyone to continue the work to end human trafficking in our state.

Thank you to @DBHDD and all those in the fight around the state who are tackling this crisis head-on. It's powerful to hear the stories of survivors and it's a reminder of how important it is to stay vigilant around drugs and opioids in our communities.

On the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken from us and honor the first responders and countless Americans whose courage and selflessness defined that tragic day.

[First Lady Marty Kemp @GAFirstLady]

Today on 9-8-8 Day, I want all Georgians to know of the free resources that can help you in tough times. Please call or text 988 if you are in need of a listening ear.

[First Lady Marty Kemp @GAFirstLady]

Congrats on a job well done by each of these K-9s! Thank you for what you did to keep your fellow Georgians safe for so many years. Enjoy retirement! 🐾

Dolly Parton, her exceptional talent and voice, and the kindness she demonstrated throughout her life and career are American treasures. As a daughter of a neighboring state, her loss is felt all the more in the South where she was so deeply loved. Her impact on this Earth reached far beyond the music industry, and her life and legacy will continue to be celebrated for generations to come.

She will be greatly missed, and the prayers of our family are with her loved ones and the entire State of Tennessee that proudly calls her their own.

Great to see caring members of the community supporting the safety of K-9 officers! These vests will go a long way in protecting them and will also benefit their handlers.

This is what happens when law enforcement across different levels works together to protect Georgia's most vulnerable! Thank you to all the local and state public safety officers that worked together to stop this evil that has no place in our state.
