The Next Chapter for Bungie:
▪️Studio understands player disappointments, must earn back trust
▪️Public outcry over Destiny 2 "made a real impact"
▪️"Bringing vaulted Destiny 2 campaigns, destinations, and raids back into the game, where they will be available to all Destiny 2 players"
▪️That will take time as changes since Beyond Light require updates to lighting, encounters, combatants, systems, etc
▪️First step to "lay the foundation" for new stories and games
▪️Evolve Marathon "beyond the genre constraints we placed on it", expand it to a deeper survival experience
▪️"We have to find a way back to making games that we want to play, but with you at the center"
▪️"Increase transparency around development priorities"
▪️"Communicate more consistently, especially when plans change"

A YouTube channel that promotes indie games faces backlash after developers accused it of charging high prices for advertising with little return.
Best Indie Games offers paid promotion packages, some developers spent hundreds or thousands of dollars and saw little impact on views, wishlists, or sales.
Indie Game Joe raised concerns about how these services may target first-time developers who don't have much experience with marketing.
For small studios, spending that kind of money without getting clear results can be a serious problem.
Did you know? If you put an original Xbox game disc into a regular home DVD player, it plays a rare, unreleased prototype startup animation instead of the final boot logo.
I’ve been having a blast with the 2K series because I don’t touch the online bits of it. There are lots of pain points that are both game and community related and once I saw that it wasn’t about actually playing ball but it was about trying to min/max around a moving feature target I was out of that part of the game. I think a huge fix would be the ability to respec your build multiple times but that’s a monetary bridge too far for 2K.
