@ScotRail Just on the train that left Glasgow Central at 5.30pm to go to Ayr. Train has stopped just before Ayr due to a swan on the line.

Swan has now moved off the line but driver was waiting on authorisation to go forward. Why would that be necessary?

I would highly doubt the train conductor would be able to move through the train carriages either at this point.
