This is unreal. Hurricane Beryl continues to defy all know logic, now becoming the first June Category 4 hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin. I can't even stress enough just how completely absurd that storm is.
Toe removal landslide model making its way into an actual presentation…I really like the initial movement phase on this one. Reactivation with toe removal continues until the slide block breaks up due to slight changes in slide plane dip. Glass microbead sliding horizon.

Did you know that BGS detects as many as 300 UK earthquakes each year? These are typically quite small, but larger events exceeding magnitude 5 can occur.
Seismologist Dr Brian Baptie discusses the last significant earthquake to hit the UK and how it affected the country.
