Two unexpected bonuses for our volunteer Gardeners at their core monthly meet-up today.
Not only did it stop raining and the sun came out, but also the 12 bells of @StP_Croydon were being rung by the Ancient Society of College Youths #SouthCroydon

This Saturday morning is the core monthly meet for GASP volunteers as they get the churchyard ready for Autumn/winter. Do stop and say hi to the volunteers if you are passing or feel free to join us. We are there 9.30am to 12.00 noon. #SouthCroydon

How would churchyards, cemeteries / other burial grds look without the dedication of 1000's of vols who mow, manage for wildflowers, rebuild walls, clear paths, look after memorials..
