Former President and Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter lived a lifetime of visionary service, guided by an abiding faith. His loss is deeply felt here in his home state and around the world. We extend our sympathy to his family, loved ones, and all those whose lives he touched.

It's a long stretch between Labor Day & Thanksgiving w/o a fall break & it really starts to take a toll on teachers. Luckily, I was able to go to Athens for a few days for the @GASocStudies conference and it did wonders for me mentally, emotionally, and professionally!
The participation and engaging dialogue amongst all these amazing educators made me even more thankful for conferences like #GCSS22, where we can share our passions and learn from each other. @fayette_ss
