Zack Snyder's visit to Warner Bros today has reminded the entire Snyderverse community of one thing.. the people leading #DC matter.

If Warner Bros. truly wants to rebuild trust with fans, then Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy should be leading DC Studios.

Why?

They understood the value of Zack Snyder's DC universe.

Michael De Luca approved Henry Cavill's return as Superman, helping make his Black Adam cameo and official return announcement possible. It showed there were leaders inside Warner Bros. who recognized the demand for Cavill's Superman.

They reportedly began developing a new Man of Steel sequel with Henry Cavill before the change in leadership at DC Studios.

They were reportedly open to continuing existing DC stories rather than immediately discarding the DCEU, giving fans hope that unfinished storylines like could be completed such as Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2 and 3 aswell as Man of Tomorrow with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck’s solo Batman movie.

They approved Zack Snyder's IMAX 'Full Circle' screenings of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition, and Zack Snyder's Justice League. Zack Snyder publicly thanked Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, saying the event including the first ever IMAX screening of Zack Snyder's Justice League would not have happened without their support.

They have also reportedly discussed internally the possibility of releasing David Ayer's original cut of Suicide Squad. While it has never been officially greenlit, multiple reports have suggested De Luca and Abdy were receptive to conversations about the Ayer Cut, showing a willingness to listen to filmmakers and fans.

They have a strong background in filmmaking and understand that audiences connect with bold directors and long term storytelling.

After Henry Cavill's return was announced, James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC Studios and chose not to move forward with Cavill's Superman, instead launching a new DC Universe with a different Superman. Many Snyderverse fans viewed this as an unnecessary soft reboot that they never wanted or asked for, believing it further divided an already fractured DC fanbase.

The Snyderverse fanbase has spent years proving its passion is not just through hashtags, but through charity work, raising over a Million Dollars for AFSP, supporting Zack Snyder and his family, and continuing to celebrate these films years after their release.

That loyalty deserves respect.

No matter where you stand on the future of DC, it's hard to ignore the excitement whenever Zack Snyder is connected to Warner Bros. His recent visit alone reignited hope and conversation across the fandom. Fans are still engaged because these films meant something to them.

Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy have already shown they are willing to listen to fans, support visionary filmmakers, and build on what audiences were already invested in. Many fans believe that direction had the potential to unite the DC fanbase instead of starting over.

If Warner Bros. wants to restore goodwill and maximize DC's potential, Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy should be leading DC Studios.

I genuinely think Microsoft should remove the Windows WhatsApp app from the Microsoft App Store it is that bad.

Tell meta to bring the native version back. Take a stand for Windows quality. Apple would probably reject this app as technically deficient

WhatsApp is the worst app on your Windows 11 PC right now, eating 1+ GB of RAM, doing nothing

I tested it on low-end, mid-range, and high-end PCs, and the experience is bad everywhere. Before even logging in, WhatsApp was already touching 400MB RAM.

After logging in and scrolling through chats, it jumped toward 1.2GB. Idle, it still holds around 600MB.

The old native UWP WhatsApp used less than 100MB at idle and felt instant.

The new app is basically web whatsapp com inside WebView2. It loads slowly, switches chats slowly, delays message sending, keeps running in the tray, and still gives worse notifications than the old app.

Meta has 3 billion WhatsApp users. Windows has 1.6 billion users. There is no excuse for shipping a browser tab as a desktop app.

If Meta can build native WhatsApp for macOS and even Apple Watch, it can build a proper native Windows app.

Windows users deserve better than this slop!

I have to say, I am really not a fan of the way Microsoft conducts Surface PC launches these days. Online blog post, focusing on business customers only, is absolutely NOT the way to go about generating hype for your hardware lineup.

We know consumer variants are around the corner, we know they will be (a bit) cheaper, and we know they'll have Snapdragon X2 options. Why not just announce it all at the same time, at an event that actually generates a bit of hype?
