I know this is generalizing and probably a simplification of the issues, but I see a LOT of teachers teaching like their hair is on fire, exemplary teaching, working 12+ hours a day to support their students. I think it’s time to look at some other issues. End.

KATHERINE KOONCE, 62, of Nashville, Tennessee, was shot to death in the school where she worked as Head of School on March 27, 2023.

Her family described her as "devoted to her family, her friends and especially the children she cared for."

Hallie Scruggs, age 9, of Nashville, Tennessee, was shot to death in her school on March 27, 2023.

She was in the third grade.
