@0jhl Also buses on that route mostly meet their targets and often are faster. It shouldn’t be a bus lane at any cost even if it is unfit for purpose. We are looking at better solutions

@0jhl The council actually listened to over 2000 residents who saw the lane would create traffic and pollution and just didn’t want to suffer anymore. Now we want to work with the council to solve the traffic and clean up our streets.

@0jhl It would cause bottlenecks every few metres as it weaves in and out of normal traffic. It was dangerously to cyclists who rejected it. We need a different solution. It was bad plan.

@0jhl The plan would have created more traffic and pollution as it would have turned a residential road into a 3-lane highway from the A406. It removed parking for vulnerable residents and would have added to subsidence and houses shaking and cracking.
