@mkainerugaba Thank you chairman for forgiving Lord Mayor Emeritus. Special thanks to your dear wife Charlotte for convicing you to finaally release him.
I agree bwana SG. Lets be serious about this vice. I hope the budget corruption case will be given chance to go through the trial process even if it involves our own members!!!
If we’re serious about fighting corruption, we can’t stop at exciting the public with House arrests and headlines. People must be prosecuted and convicted so everyone learns the lesson. This habit of forgiving, only for them to fight us again later demoralizes every anti-corruption crusader. You can’t convict Nandutu over 300 iron sheets, then forgive the one who stole the entire economy. The law must apply equally big or small fish.
@KyaggweTv@nbstv Lt. Gen Joseph and AIGP Felix are known to be clear headed and professional individuals. I am very certain, the investigators will find out soon.
RATIONALISATION OF GOV'T EXPENDITURE:
The PSST Dr @rggoobi has said that effective next FY 2026/27, @GovUganda will not spend money on organising public functions (public holidays) including: Women's day,Labour day,Independence day etc). He says money will only be spent on the few religious functions.
According to Dr.Ggoobi,H.E the President @KagutaMuseveni will address Ugandans on Radio and Television from State House, adding that the money saved will be used to finance the priorities of Gov't (ATMS & Enablers).
@DaudiKabanda Welcome back Hon. DK. Ignore haters and rather focus on shaping our path to a fully blown political party as the supreme leader earlier intimated
Thank you for being a patriot. You made your contribution despite earthly distractions. We look forward to seeing you in parliament and or cabinet if you stay cool headed and focussed on doing good for the nation and NRM party
I join my colleagues in congratulating Rt Hon @ObothOboth and Rt Hon @Thomas_Tayebwa on their election as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 12th Parliament. I have no doubt that your leadership will bolster the legislative agenda and promote outcomes that serve our nation's best interests. I sincerely wish you success in your service to our country.
On behalf of my Chairman, General @mkainerugaba, I extend sincere gratitude to the over 350 Honorable Members of Parliament who turned up on short notice for Hon. Oboth Oboth’s thanksgiving ceremony, at his home in Mukono. This was a powerful show of the spirit that should guide our Parliament and our party.
@JustineNameere I actually thought you were serious about fighting corruption!! The way u castigated Nandutu without mentioning others that stole iron sheets with her made me doubt your seriousness!
I'm happy to announce that we raised over 1 billion Uganda shillings during the birthday run. I shall soon announce the charities we shall support and handover cheques to them. Thank you all for your support.
Thank you all that participated in Gen. MKs charity run. Thank you for embracing the theme. Our Hope is Alive; make no mistake!! Omusika wa Uganda wali. May you live to celebrate 150 birth days Ndugu Gen. Tupoko Pamoja........
@mkainerugaba Thnx for caring for the less privilaged Gen. We have a huge number of young people using & abusing drugs (hard core drugs). How I wish I had an opportunity of having a conversation with you on what harm reduction interventions we can employ to arrest the situation. God bless you.
