It’s UK #ParliamentWeek (UKPW) at Great Baddow High School. This is an annual event, spreading the word about UK Parliament and how you can get involved. We were delighted to welcome @vickyford today who shared her experience of politics with our @GBHSSixthForm.
Next week we are looking forward to welcoming @vickyford to our school, as @GBHSSixthForm recognises #UKParliamentWeek with a mock election. Mrs Ford will speak to students on voting, the role of an MP, her experience in Government & the general workings of British politics.

We were fortunate to be visited by two former GBHS students who are now apprentices at Teledyne e2v. They gave fantastic presentations on products designed and manufactured at the Chelmsford site. They were incredible informative about the apprenticeship route for engineering.

Been another great week with Swimming at @AquaticsCentre and Primary and Xtend events in Cambridgeshire. Thanks to the leaders from @gbhssports and @StIvoAcademy for help in the respective events @Panathlon. We had over 100 children take part in 3 events and 38 leaders
To celebrate #InternationalWomensDay our Year 12 History students have been learning about the Women’s Liberation movement, the history of the pill and laws regarding women’s rights. There is also a display in the Sixth Form detailing laws and important women in politics.
We were very excited to find out that our school's LRM Breakfast Club has been shortlisted in the Kellog's Breakfast Club Awards 2022! The winner will be announced in a few weeks. Keep your fingers crossed for us! @KelloggsUKI
