@auntyajoke_ CNG and cooking Gas is different.
Compressed Natural Gas is Different from cooking gas, if you buy 7k CN-Gas into a salon car itโd take you to lagos and probably run you some extra miles, our people need serious Sensitization on how they are mixing up this whole thing.
Many Nigerians still have concerns about CNG, but the facts matter.
CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) cylinders are built to withstand extremely high pressure and are tested to rigorous safety standards. In many cases, CNG is actually safer than petrol because natural gas is lighter than air and disperses quickly if a leak occurs, reducing the risk of fire.
What Nigeria needs now is massive public sensitization, proper training for technicians, strict enforcement of safety standards, and expansion of refueling infrastructure.
The transition to CNG can help reduce transportation costs, lower fuel expenses for families and businesses, and support energy security.
Awareness is key. Letโs educate, not speculate.
