The @GCAT_dhrp is calling for stronger privacy protections for people seeking health information online especially people living with HIV.
As digital health platforms expand, safeguarding sensitive data and protecting users from stigma, abuse and discrimination must remain a priority.

Digital spaces should be safe and accessible for young adults. We need to work together to increase digital inclusion and digital literacy. Investing in connectivity and digital inclusion is key to providing equitable public internet access and protecting human rights and digital health.
We must also invest in digital literacy to empower communities online. You can learn more about digital divides and how to empower yourself and your community to protect your digital rights by joining our Mass Open Online Course (MOOC).
It is available now in English, and you can join for free here:https://t.co/wf9DkdGCg8

Today is #InternationalWomensDay. This year's theme is 'rights, justice, action for all women and girls'.
We know that women are disproportionately experiencing online harms including digital divides and technology-facilitated abuse. Our research has also found that national digital health strategies fail to account for gender.
We continue to raise these concerns and advocate for the rights of all women to be upheld in the digital space. For example, we recently submitted a response to the UN Working Group on Discrimination Against Women and Girls’ regarding their upcoming thematic report on Gender Equality, the Digital Space and the Age of Artificial Intelligence. You can read our submission here: https://t.co/Rxuc4mTPxP and learn more about our advocacy here: https://t.co/zWzrcxa7Wq
On International Women’s Day, remember: online harassment is a crime.
Section 67 of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038) criminalizes cyberstalking and online abuse in Ghana.
Women deserve dignity and safety online.
