On the occasion of #InternationalDayofYoga 2026, , #CRPF Offices Bengaluru participated in the nationwide #YogaSangam2026 at VT Mathew Parade Ground Yelahanka Bengaluru

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers, personnel of all ranks, family members, and students, reflecting a shared commitment towards wellness, discipline, and holistic well-being.

#DrVipulKumar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Karnataka & Kerala Sector, #CRPF, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Annappa E., IPS, DIG, Shri Daljit Singh, DIG; Shri Pramod Kumar Mehra, DIG; Shri Padma Kumar A , DIG, GC Bengaluru; and Dr. Angel Bennet, DIG (Medical) were also present on the occasion.

The #yogaSangam session was conducted in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol, emphasizing the role of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental resilience, and overall well-being.

Winners of the Yoga Competition and Quiz Competition organized as part of the International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations were felicitated by the Chief Guest for their outstanding achievements.

🍀PNG FACILITIES AT GC CRPF BENGALURU CAMPUS🍀

A Bhoomi Poojan ceremony for the establishment of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) facilities at Group Centre, CRPF Bengaluru Campus was held today in association with #GAIL Gas Ltd., Bengaluru. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Vipul Kumar, IPS, IGP , KKS,#CRPF signifying an important step towards the adoption of clean, safe and sustainable energy solutions within the campus.

The #PNG project is being implemented pursuant to the Agreement executed between GC CRPF Bengaluru and GAIL Gas Ltd., Bengaluru for the provision of PNG facilities at the campus.

The programme was attended by Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager, GAIL Gas Ltd., Bengaluru, Shri Daljit Singh, DIG, KKS , Shri Pramod Kumar Mehra, DIG, KKS, Shri Padmakumar, DIG, GC Bengaluru, and Dr. Angel Bennet, DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital Bengaluru.

The occasion was also attended by officers and representatives of GAIL Gas Ltd., CRPF personnel, jawans and their family members.

As part of the International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations, Yogasana Competitions for School and College students were organized at Group Centre CRPF Bengaluru encouraging youth participation in the promotion of holistic health and wellness through yoga.

Students enthusiastically demonstrated various yogasanas, reflecting discipline, concentration, physical fitness, and mental resilience.

The programme highlighted the importance of cultivating healthy lifestyle practices from an early age, reinforcing yoga as a lifelong companion for well-being and healthy ageing.

#CRPF On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day , a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized at CRPF Bengaluru by Composite Hospital CRPF in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Bengaluru, under the aegis of Karnataka & Kerala Sector CRPF.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Vipul Kumar, IPS, IG Karnataka & Kerala Sector, and conducted under the guidance of Dr. Angel Bennet, DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital Bengaluru along with other senior officers, participated in and encouraged the noble initiative.
A total of 50 personnel from KKS Headquarters, Composite Hospital Bengaluru, Group Centre Bengaluru, 97 RAF, 240 (M) Bn, 247 (VS) Bn, CIT Bengaluru and C2 Signal voluntarily donated blood, reaffirming CRPF's commitment to humanity and service beyond duty.

A pledge-taking ceremony was also conducted, with active participation of officers and personnel, promoting the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Plantation Drive 2026, launched under the Karnataka & Kerala Sector CRPF Annual plantation campaign, was inaugurated at GC CRPF Bengaluru by Dr. Vipul Kumar, IPS, IGP, Karnataka & Kerala Sector, CRPF.

🌿Rejuvenated Thimmakka Lake Dedicated to Environmental Sustainability at GC CRPF Bengaluru

🍀As part of environment day celebrations,today an existing pond and adjacent water body inside the GC had been rejuvenated into a beautiful Lake and named it Thimmakka Lake(in memory of renowned environmentalist Padmashree Salumarada Timmakka) at GC CRPF Bengaluru.The lake was inaugurated by Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla,AC, Astronaut,Presided by Dr. Vipul Kumar, IPS, IGP KKS and other dignitaries.The restored lake has been developed as an environmental conservation initiative focused on water conservation, groundwater recharge and biodiversity enhancement.

☘️The lake has become a reality by the participation of jawans and officers of Bengaluru station by Sramdan and Volunteers from NGO Blue Dot.
During the programme, the Chief Guest shared his experiences from space and highlighted the importance of protecting the environment and natural resources.

An MoU was also exchanged between RCWA, GC Bengaluru and BlueDot Foundation for the continued upkeep and environmental stewardship of the lake. The initiative was undertaken with technical support from BlueDot Foundation.

🌳The project reflects CRPF's commitment towards environmental sustainability and community participation in preserving nature for future generations.

सीआरपीएफ शौर्य दिवस के अवसर पर विशेष सैनिक सम्मेलन एवं अलंकरण समारोह का गरिमामय आयोजन किया गया।

Sh Ravideep Singh Sahi ,ADG Southern Zone CRPF द्वारा विशेष सैनिक सम्मेलन लिया गया, जिसमें Dr Vipul Kumar IPS ,IGP KKS सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण, अधिकारीगण तथा सभी रैंक के कार्मिक उपस्थित रहे।

समारोह के दौरान पदक विजेताओं को विधिवत् अलंकृत किया गया तथा सेवारत एवं सेवानिवृत्त वीरता पदक प्राप्तकर्ताओं को सम्मानित किया गया।

सीआरपीएफ परिवार के उत्कृष्ट उपलब्धि प्राप्त करने वाले बच्चों को भी सम्मानित किया गया।

शौर्य दिवस के अवसर पर वीर नारियों को सम्मानित कर उनकी समस्याओं के संबंध में जानकारी प्राप्त की गई।
