GCMS 8th grader Maylee Judd was recognized during last night's BOE meeting. Maylee established the district's first ASL (American Sign Language) Club!

Maylee and the ASL club also signed during the Pledge of Allegiance at our Veterans Day Assembly!

During last night's Board of Education meeting we were able to honor three employees with the board's Golden Apple "Above and Beyond" award!

During tonight's BOE meeting the board received an update from G. Scott & Associates on the high school project.

The Green County High School project is nearing completion of the Construction Document stage. The design will be sent to the KDE for approval.

During last night's BOE meeting, GCHS Principal Ben Davenport was presented a Golden Apple Above and Beyond award.

Mr. Davenport was recognized for over two decades of service to the GCS including time as a primary, intermediate and high school principal.

During last night's BOE meeting we were honored to recognize GCHS student Will Bonta.

Bonta was announced state-wide winner of the KACTE Entrepreneurship Event. Bonta’s project was a business model related to USDA-certified beef and earned the $1,000 prize.
