Did you know that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been using his own custom $2 bills for over 30 years?
He doesn't print the money itself, which would be illegal. Instead, he legally purchases large, uncut sheets of genuine $2 bills directly from the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
He then takes the sheets to a local print shop in his hometown of Los Gatos, California, which binds them into a pad and adds perforations so he can tear them off like a notepad. He even stamps them with his initials, "WOZ".
Though each $2 bill costs him around $3 to produce, they are legal tender and he enjoys the novelty and the reactions he gets when spending them, a habit he calls a "joke" he enjoys sharing with people.
