Students have enjoyed a walking tour of Berlin this afternoon. We took in famous sights including the Brandenburg Gate.

We are very excited about the upcoming Berlin trip with our year 11s. Please hand in your passports and GHICs by Wednesday. The slides and information booklet from the information evening will be sent out soon via Bromcom.

The amazing Miss Cole Guided us around Sachsenhausen concentration camp and taught us loads about the camp history.
Some free time in potsdamerplatz now for shopping and lunch.

On our walking tour we learned about the Reichstag, Brandenurg Gate, the fall of the Berlin wall and successful attempts to cross it, Checkpoint Charlie, and the memorial to murdered Jews.
Back at the accommodation now and resting for tomorrow.
