We will continue to monitor new cases and positivity rates but @GenevaALSchools has no plans to close schools. We must, however, stay safe and vigilant as rates rise.

Mulkey Elementary will be closed Tomorrow, Oct 22 & Friday, Oct 23 due to a shortage of school personnel. GMS & GHS will remain open & buses will run on schedule both days. We apologize for the late notice & any inconvenience this decision creates.

Based on information from local officials and uncertainty around road conditions, all @GenevaALSchools will close tomorrow, Thursday September 16th. We will return to school & normal operations on Friday. Please be careful, stay safe and only get out if absolutely necessary.

@GenevaALSchools will dismiss today at our regular time, but there will be no after school activities. Tomorrow is a virtual day for all. We will make a decision about school for Thursday the 17th by noon tomorrow. Monitor the weather carefully & stay safe! #HurricaneSally2020
