I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
The Squad not forcing the Speaker Vote.
I watched Force the Vote, glitter in the dark on Twitter.
All that momentum will be lost in time, like Medicare for All.
@lporiginalg ἔθνος doesn't mean nation, that's a very bad translation. I guess it depends on how you define nation. But it has nothing to do with our modern conception of a nation. But however, you translate the word, ethnonationalism is a sin.
@thedragonLML I've read the original Robin Hood stories, and he kills innocent women and children in cold blood, all the time. Not just upper class people, regular peasant children he casually murders.
A silly review of an okay review. Whenever someone says something like stripped of language, heart and musicality. They're just telling you it doesn't sound the way they want it to sound. Emily Wilson's translation, gets rid of the pretentiousness, and faux Victorian English.
Silly review, silly translation that reads like a series of text messages, stripped of language, heart, musicality.
One small example of 3 translations:
Fitzgerald: Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story
Fagles: Sing to me of the man, Muse, the man of twists and turns
Wilson: Tell me about a complicated man.
(If you see Wilson’s translation and feel inclined to hide it behind the others, you’d be doing the world a service)
@PJaccetturo I'm sorry it doesn't look like a 300 million blockbuster. It looks like they're going to freeze to death because they're out in the snow in the cold with no jackets and no protection, which makes no sense.
@TheStaad Your ancestors's were pagan polytheists, for much longer than Christianity has even existed. Why don't you go back to that. Christianity, a religion started by a Jewish man in the Middle East, has nothing to do with English English or Danish people.
@BonifaceOption He talked about fascism. He didn't say anything about Christendom or White people. Calm down crazy. If you have seen the Austrian's paintins, you would know he didn't know anything about art. Once something as fascist, it ceases to be art. And just becomes propaganda.
@HMBohemond Many wrong things here. It wasn't hers to melt. She didn't know she could do that. She didn't have any of the pieces at any point. So it was literally impossible. Liz never had any pieces of the crown. Also, it's a fantasy movie, it's not going to be logical and realistic.
@sola_chad How do you know that the Lord that James with the brother of was Jesus? That was just a generic term, that could mean a king, or just a sign of respect. Kurios, is like saying mister or gentlemen. We have no context that he's talking about Jesus there.
@TonyKnox15@dr_duchesne Slavery is still going on in the worldwide. It didn't end anywhere. Not even in America or the West. This is a fantasy that they tell children, that slavery ended.
