We are saddened to share the passing of GC Sports Hall of Famer TJ Slay.

Inducted in 2021, TJ left an incredible mark on Granite City Wrestling — a 1995 Illinois Class AA 130-pound State Champion with a perfect 43-0 record.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Slay family.

Our final inductee into the 2025 GC Sports Hall of Fame Class is 1997 graduate Carrie (Simpson) Wallace.

⚽️ 1998 NAIA All-American
⚽️ Had 46 goals & 42 assists for 134 points
⚽️ GCHS MVP with 12 goals & 12 assists
🏀 3rd-team all-SWC in 1997
