@thesphiey@elonmusk Why so negative? New Zealand and Australia, also RHD markets like the UK are fully activated, I read on the Tesla website.
It's just a matter of time but not as long as you suggest.
@thesphiey@yorkshire_free@TeslaJigsaw Yes the UK Government does not allow all of the self driving features Tesla ships in the most advanced markets. It isn't one thing but many features bundled under one name. This is reflected in the options you can turn on in the UI when you have the UK release of software.
Yeah, seeing it everywhere.
Btw, 12.4 goes to internal release this weekend and limited external beta next week. Roughly 5X to 10X improvement in miles per intervention vs 12.3.
12.5 will be out in late June. Will also see a major improvement in mpi and is single stack – no more implicit stack on highways.
Tesla has completed the 5,000 kilometers (3,107 miles) of Full Self-Driving (FSD) testing required on Belgian public roads, Flemish Mobility Minister Annick De Ridder said.
The test file has now moved to De Ridder's administration for its formal advice on homologation. However, Flanders still hasn't received the complete homologation file from the Netherlands' road authority, RDW. The Mobility Minister noted that her administration needs the homologation file to base a correct advice on all the facts. https://t.co/eJFC8qfrR7
@MetJam_ What is the significance to you of comparing May and July?
The sigma deviation from a common baseline would be more understandable, in significance terms, to me.
@MissJilianne I did BUT in the interim I have traded, selling (personally) at up to ~480 and buying (personally) at ~130 and many points in-between. I've made a lot and lost a bit. I'm happy.
Looks to me like those days continue!
@KRoelandschap@robotinreallife@robotaxi The more aggressive the higher the risk. Tesla and the self driving movement in general doesn't need that at present. The 'supervised' aspect means you can take control if you want.
In the UK Police speed trap risks often force me to take over to slow the car, seen 50+ in a 30.
@YTJustGetATesla@Everyth1ngElec The beautiful Polestar doesn't have FSD. It isn't planned to have FSD. So it falls at step one for me.
Tesla have said the cost of updating these S and X to their new paradigms was so high they would have to start again and the new product pipeline is full.
Best use of area‽
@yorkshire_free@TeslaJigsaw We do have an eyes and hands monitored FSD stack in thdle UK. If I am not attentive 'supervising' it constructively nags me. It says I could get strikes. It says enough (5?) and I will be barred for a while (never been there). IMHO it has clearly progressed in the UK.
@tesla_jokes Today the UK doesn't have the same as the most advanced approved FSD markets have. Other markets had FSD like the UK has but have progressed faster. In the past the name was not good, now it's more accurate in some places than others.
Tesla is growing into it's aspirations.
@tesla_jokes Yes it's obvious the UK version is way behind. That's not to say I never perceive changes. I can see other RHD markets who have FSD (New Zealand and Australia) have much more refined capabilities. Similarly videos from the USA and The Netherlands have left us behind.
@tesla_jokes At present whenever I am about to change speed zone I turn off all driving assistance (I have UK FSD) because it is so unreliable at slowing down BY ENTRY to the new speed zone. My licence can not afford the points. Unless Tesla takes the hit points I will continue with this.
@tesla_jokes Where did the NOT go‽
On a busy motorway / A road my Tesla is easy to supervise BUT as soon as a lower speed zone turns up, unless the guy in front slows I'm doing +10 mph over the limit until I disengage. If this is a 60 down to a 30 (not rare) I am in 6+ points territory.

@9phyok32@tesla_jokes Lucky you, but a GT4 is very far from a typical affordable sports car (as the Tesla is affordable). I am thinking Mazda, Toyota, Honda, Subaru etc.
~6 seconds to 60 is plenty fast enough for most people.
@Villigen@Teslarati Same as every other car I guess. We don't know because we have only had big screens etc like this for a relatively short time.
My guess is the capacitors will dry out in less than 20 years whatever we do. Then its repairs and spares.
