Here's a look at our new Overlay custom tip jar that will allow you to bring in any image as a tip jar and have it work with multiple platforms including: Twitch, Youtube, Kick, Tiktok, Fourthwall, and Throne

@ZombiiX3_ttv @LumiaStream Yes we still use it as a application on the PC, Don't know how log had been since you used Lumia, but since 9.0 it has a new look and on my side it doesn't take more thatn 1-3% cpu and same for GPU so your VTuber software should work fine , we also have a integration for that one

@lockinmarv @EbianTheDog @LumiaStream The connections to the platforms and alerts are running localy , overlays even if they are hosted online they are waiting for your app to send the triggers so it's a bit of a hibrid, Overlays alone don't work without the local app

As much as it saddens us to hear the news around StreamElements, if they do end up shutting down, users will feel right at home with Lumia Stream’s overlay system.

StreamElements was actually one of our biggest inspirations when creating our own overlay platform.

One thing we’ve always focused on is making overlays easy to use without a steep learning curve. We also have tons of free overlays created by our amazing community and creators, along with the ability to easily build and share your own.

Our overlay system is completely free with no paid features locked behind it.

The paid Lumia Stream features are focused on the desktop app side of things like smart lights themes, variations, unlimited chat commands and even then, only a small portion of Lumia Stream is actually paywalled. Majority of our users have been just fine on our free version for years

We’ll continue doing our best to make the transition as smooth as possible for anyone looking for a new home. ❤️

We’re nearing a decade of Lumia Stream, and I want to give a personal and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported Lumia Stream throughout the years, both financially and through your continued encouragement and support.

Our premium users help us cover the expensive hosting, web services, and databases that power Lumia Stream, which cost thousands of dollars every month. Just as importantly, your support allows us to remain independent without needing outside investors telling us what to do. And our free users help introduce Lumia to new audiences and continue spreading the word about what we’ve built together.

Lumia Stream has grown into something massive, and it takes a tremendous amount of work to support the endless number of users who join us every single day. One thing we’ve always taken pride in is maintaining a dedicated support team, and over the years I truly believe we’ve done an excellent job at that.

Our team may be small, but the four of us have huge ambitions, heart, and talent. And of course, we can’t forget the previous staff members and community members who helped us along the way.
