For young individuals that are not infected, there are prevention methods provided for them. There is a lack of education provided by the community and schools for the you about HIV/AIDS. Only certain individuals bring upon awareness to the youth about this epidemic.
Social factors in the rural South Africa are not addressed accordingly. Thing such as poverty play a role in the HIV&AIDS stats. There are no facilities in rural areas that provide necessary care for thpse that are infected.

South Africa boasts the highest standards of healthcare in Africa. This however, is not anything to go by. With a majority of African countries living below their means, this comparison is a stark reality of how far we are from healthcare, free DECENT healthcare!!

The EC health department’s state of dilapidation is nothing new. For many years, activists have raised the issues plaguing the system and its over-burdened workers and for years these concerns have been met with quiet and nonchalance. Now the system has effectively collapsed.
