Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and #OrangeShirtDay. The day's intent is to honour survivors, their families, and communities, and ensure public commemoration of the history/legacy of residential schools remains a vital component of the reconciliation process.
June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day.
