Today, the Russians used their ballistic missile to destroy an ordinary house belonging to an ordinary family in Radushne, near Kryvyi Rih, in our Dnipro region. It was the Voronov family: mother Olena, father Artem, seven children – Mark, Dominika, Zakharii, Azarii Ilai, Federica, Emilia, and Viorika – and one-and-a-half-year-old grandson Artem, the child of their eldest son, who is now defending Ukraine. As of now, it has been confirmed that parents and three children – Mark, Azarii Ilai, and Emilia – were killed. The Russian missile struck with such force that almost nothing was left of the house… Fragments of human bodies were found under the rubble, and only forensic examinations can establish which members of the family they belong to. The fate of Zakharii, Dominika, Viorika, Federica, and Artem is still being determined… It is a horrific crime of Russia’s war against Ukraine – against ordinary people, against ordinary life.

This Russian evil can only be stopped by the whole world. No one in the world can be left to face such terror alone. And when we say that Ukraine needs missiles for Patriots, when we seek the capabilities to defend ourselves against Russian ballistic missiles, this isn’t about abstractions. We are talking about families like this, people like these, who can live if we have the means to shoot down Russian missiles – if our partners help us with interceptors. Families who can be killed if we have nothing to stop Russian Iskanders with.

It is important that these people are seen by those who make decisions – decisions at the Pentagon, in European capitals, and everywhere in the world where there is an opportunity to help Ukraine protect lives. Reality speaks for itself. Protecting lives is necessary. Air defense missiles are necessary.

Mariia Vlasiuk, a trained combat medic of the 80th Air Assault Brigade evacuated dozens of wounded soldiers under heavy fire. This brave woman was awarded the Order for Courage III. degree.🫡

On 24 May 2022, Mariia was on her way to evacuate more wounded near Bilohorivka when Russian artillery struck her convoy.
The 27-year-old medic was killed instantly💔.

She dedicated her life to saving others and gave her own while doing so.

He died defending Ukraine at 23.

His 50-year-old mother took his place on the battlefield.

The Meniuk family's story is yet another reminder that russia's war against Ukraine began in 2014 — not in 2022.

Stanislav Meniuk, an arm-wrestling champion and trained medic, was declared medically unfit for service because of spinal injuries. He forged his medical clearance anyway and joined the Aidar Battalion.

Knowing lives would depend on him, he taught himself tactical combat medicine from American and russian training materials. On the front, he saved dozens of wounded Ukrainian soldiers.

On July 27, 2014, Stanislav was killed by a russian explosive device. He was only 23.

After his death, his mother, Liudmyla, joined the Aidar Battalion in his place.

She first went to avenge her son. She stayed to fight for Ukraine's future — so fewer mothers would lose their children as she did.

Liudmyla became the first woman in the Ukrainian Army to head the battalion's armored service. Later, she won gold at the Invictus Games.

Never let anyone tell you this war began on February 24, 2022.

Денис Волинець народився 2005 року на Житомирщині. Батьки розлучилися, коли він був зовсім малим, а з відчимом стосунки не склалися.

Його виховували мама й бабуся - на 860 грн дитячої допомоги. Мама працювала ночами, аби син мав усе необхідне.

Коли почалася війна, Денисові було 16. Він бігав до військкомату, охороняв училище та копав окопи.

Щойно виповнилося 18, він пішов до військкомату. Мама благала, погрожувала, навіть обіцяла купити "Жигулі", аби не йшов.

Він служив у розвідці 100-ї бригади, став оператором дронів. Командир тоді писав мамі: "Якби моя воля - я б дав йому всі нагороди".

У грудні 2025-го Денис вперше приїхав додому у відпустку. Зробив фотосесію з мамою.

А 22 лютого 2026 року загинув під Костянтинівкою.

Йому було лише 20.

Його тіло було обгорілим і понівеченим. Мама впізнала сина за татуюванням і годинником.

Побратими привезли їй його фронтову кішку - вона пройшла з Денисом весь Донецький напрямок. Тепер кішка живе вдома і чекає на нього.

Найбільше Денис хотів нагороду "Золотий Хрест" і отримав її - посмертно.

А ще він знайшов на війні те, чого не мав удома - батька. Фронтового, побратима Миколу з позивним "Блондин".

Той має четверо своїх дітей, а Денис став для нього п'ятим сином.

Микола возив йому гамбургери, навіть суші, на позицію. Балував, як міг. Востаннє Денис попросив привезти гамбургери - за кілька годин до смерті.

Микола не встиг. Він тричі заїжджав, щоб вивезти тіло. Першу машину підбили, друга не пройшла, і лише втретє вдалося.

Він мріяв освідчитися дівчині, побудувати будинок та просто жити. Але не встиг.

Сьогодні його фронтовий батько досі не може повірити, що Денис не повернеться. Йому здається, що той просто поїхав у відпустку.

Ukrainian Defender Danylo Voronov lost his entire family in a Russian strike on Radushne, Dnipropetrovsk region.

At the moment a Russian ballistic missile hit their home, his parents, seven brothers and sisters, and his 1.5-year-old son, Artem, were inside.

Danylo says Artem was a cheerful little boy who was always smiling and loved pressing the keys of a piano. His family believed he had a gift for music.

This is an unimaginable tragedy.

Deepest condolences to Danylo.
May he find the strength to endure this devastating loss.
