@CodeWeavers AOE2 DE is not working. When selecting units, villagers, warriors the framrate drops to 10 FPS and the game becomes unplayable. @marc_ibrahim have managed to fix this in his program GameToMac.

@marc_ibrahim Hello Marc. Now AOE2 freeezes in-game. Sometimes after 10 min gameplay, sometimes after 30 min gameplay. Play online (unranked lobby). No message, nothing. Just freezes.

Can hear the sound in the background, but screen freeze totally. Have to force quit game/steam

@marc_ibrahim I think it started happening after when you made external storage / hd update. It worked flawlessly before that atleast.

@marc_ibrahim Hello again, Marc. I actually tried disabling all the mods. Now both the interface and the menus are faster. Also, the loading time is much, much better. Thanx again 😀

When you have time, could you perhaps take a look at the loading times between matches? It takes forever. Sometimes people leave the game while it's loading because they think I've disconnected.

I think they have changed the mechanics of how you control your units quite a bit.

@marc_ibrahim Great! The ingame stutter is almost gone,, but when you host a «custom» online lobby the menu is soo slow and sometimes it freezes totally:

Try change the civilization or close / open slot. If you put the game / window in background and back you will experience the freeze..
