At 65 years old and 15km into the Boston marathon, I stopped and busted out 12 pull ups at a Marines supporting station along the course…and then continued to finish the marathon. Not everyone CAN do them, but everyone has the ability to train themselves to be able to do them! #neverstoptraining #justdoit 💪
@Geologo_Trader Freedom of rights principles mostly advantage the smart and powerful people, not the lesser intelligent and vulnerable populations…like children…and the high percentage of adults who aren’t very smart. Social media does more damage than good IMHO
@leadlagreport Threshold Running for fat loss and weight training - standing heavy weight exercises…and push ups and pull ups…once you get them it’s easy to maintain 🏃🏽♂️➡️ #neverstoptraining
@texasrunnerDFW So glad my 33, 35 and 37 year old kids have avoided this trend. All have good jobs, lovely partners and paying off their own lovely homes that were purchased before the insane property prices hit post-covid.
@texasrunnerDFW I’ve experienced a similar thing several times…I think always after physical activity…but no pain, just the arching light blurring my vision and making me feel disorientated. No headache or any other symptoms and it would last for anything up to an hour then just disappear.
@texasrunnerDFW Use it to make you more determined to get through the next session to the end…never try again the next day or slip extra workouts in to make up for it…stick to the plan!
@texasrunnerDFW Training statistics are so important in maintaining focus on your goals! I’ve been keeping training records since 2012 and summarise them yearly to keep track of patterns I may not notice over short terms of just months or even a few years.
@Dr_Vanitas_ @FitFounder Not true though when you are over 60. MAINTAINING the same weights you’ve been able to push/pull up to that age should be the priority…you can’t expect to keep gaining strength once you hit 60 if you’ve been training consistently and increasing for the previous 40-odd years.
@texasrunnerDFW This park is across the road from my apartment Amy…a great spot for sure!! The Gold Coast is such a great place to be a fitness lover!!!
