100 YEARS AGO THIS MONTH...
In 1919 WA was represented by two strong football leagues. The WAFL covered the Perth metro area but here was also the Goldfields league in Kalgoorlie. East Perth traveled to Kalgoorlie to take on Railways to determine the State Champions of WA.
A bit of push and shove between Railways' Chris Yarran and Kalgoorlie's Josh Allen in the Goldfields Football League.
The finals are finally here as I heard teammates telling Allen "we've got a game next week β¦ don't do anything stupid"
