Our @FRYouthViolPrev hosted the 2019 Youth & Candidates Forum on Oct. 28 @frps_Kuss. Community youth courageously and eloquently shared their stories and challenged our political candidates to make the right choices when instituting decisions that impact them. An amazing night!
We have lost 67 loved ones in our community this year due to #overdose. August 31 is #InternationalOverdoseAwarenessDay; an chance to remember loved ones lost to #overdose and @fallriver_ma was part of the movement.

On Mon., Sept. 26th, 23 incoming freshman students from @myrwu carried out an exceptional all-morning #communityservice project on the #QuequechanRiverRailTrail. They mulched, weeded gardens, raked clippings & swept walkways, collecting 17 large bags of garden waste. #GreatDay
On Wed., Aug. 21, the @frpsinfo sponsored a #FREE, citywide #Back2School#FieldDay@fallriver_ma families.
Held at @frps_sb, the event included kindness rock painting, bubble-making, wood-working, a whole group rhythmical activity & distribution of over 400 #FREE backpacks.
The 4th Annual Police & Public#Palooza was held at Britland Park on Aug. 20th. to foster #unity and to celebrate #lawenforcement and community partnerships. Congratulations to the 2019 Heroes of Peace Awardees.
