Tanrak is a young seminarian whose quiet strength comes not from certainty, but from survival. Gentle, disciplined, and deeply faithful, he carries himself with a calm maturity that often makes people forget how much pain he has endured. After losing both of his parents in a tragic accident as a child, Tanrak found solace in faith and dedicated his life to God, believing that one day he will be reunited with his family in heaven.
At first glance, Tanrak appears serene and compose. He is the ideal student and future priest. He is responsible, compassionate, and respected by those around him. He instinctively helps others, even when they have given him no reason to. Whether caring for someone who is ill, standing up for someone who is being mistreated, or quietly carrying burdens that do not belong to him, Tanrak consistently chooses kindness over convenience.
Yet beneath his gentle exterior lies a heart filled with unspoken emotions. He rarely speaks about his own pain, fears, or loneliness, preferring instead to shoulder them in silence. The grief of losing his parents never truly left him; he simply learned how to live with it. While he appears unwavering on the outside, much of his emotional world remains hidden beneath the surface.
His eyes reveal what his words often do not. There is a quiet sadness in them, a longing that never completely fades. They carry the weight of memories, the ache of loss, and the hope that keeps him moving forward. Even when he smiles, there is often something reflective and distant in his gaze, as though part of him is always searching for the people he lost. His eyes are perhaps the most honest part of him, expressing compassion, doubt, sorrow, and love long before he ever speaks.
Tanrak's greatest strength is his empathy. He sees beyond people's actions and recognizes the wounds hidden underneath. This is why he is one of the few people capable of understanding Barth. While others see anger, rebellion, and trouble, Tanrak sees pain. He understands that some people lash out not because they are cruel, but because they have been hurt.
However, his compassion can also be a weakness. Tanrak tends to place others before himself, often carrying responsibilities that should not be his alone. He believes strongly in forgiveness and redemption, sometimes to the point of neglecting his own needs. He wants to save everyone, even when he cannot save himself.
Symbolically, Tanrak represents hope, faith, and light. He is the person who chooses belief when life gives him every reason not to. While others become hardened by suffering, he remains gentle. While others turn away from faith, he moves toward it. His journey is all about continually choosing love, compassion, and hope despite the pain he carries within.
Tanrak is not a saint. He is a wounded boy who learned to turn grief into faith, loneliness into kindness, and loss into hope, and that is what makes him unforgettable.
Let's meet Tanrak tonight ☺️ send him all your love
((P.S. I have use the term flaws in the image, but they aren't flaws really. Every person has a good and a not so good side. That is how we go about life right?))
