Menopause?
I'm a male. Add to that, even if I could experience menopause... I would unfortunately not make it to that age due to heart issues.

Now, as for hormones:
Those naturally produced and needed to regulate naturally occuring processes of the existing human organism, are by definition not destructive.

But those used to "affirm" delusional dismorphias, cause serioys damage to the human orhanism including osteoporosis, interference with metabolic activity, increased rates of cancers, ect.
Add to that, hormonal treatments in the dosages necessary for HRT cause euphoria, and interfere with normal cognitive function.

Yes. The same as aesthetic implants, said "affirmative treatment" also seeks to alter the body. Not restore function or quality of life.

(As an aside, said "therapeutics" made the pharmaceutical industry loads of money. More than actual medicines do.)
