Did you know Al Thomas’ 1977 Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles defense didn’t allow a point that season. They outscored opponents 288-6 in ‘77, with the only score allowed coming on a fumble recovery. For an encore, the Eagles didn’t allow Friendly past the 50 yd line in the final.
