Diagnosed celiac Tweeting my successes - and failures - eating #glutenfree in Wash DC. These are my experiences, not advice. Always consult your doctor (M.D.).
I posted this before I read it. Then read the first sentence. 🤦🏻♀️ Evidence doesn't show that rates are actually on the rise. But, doctors are getting better at diagnosing. It still can take years to be diagnosed correctly. Sigh. #Celiac@washingtonian
@greenchef@paramountplus you sent me an offer for a 30-day free trial in my Green Chef box this week, but the QR code opens a web page with offers for 7-day free trials. How doing get the 30-day free trial? There is a code provided that begins pplus10, but where do I input that?
Just visited Call Your Mother deli in NW DC and tried the #GlutenFree cheesy bread and yum!! So delicious. Just make sure you ask for it to be warmed in the oven, not the toaster, if you have #celiac. Definitely worth stopping in to get it hot.

I've been eating a lot of @seoulspice lately. So grateful for a delicious, 100% #glutenfree menu (and no peanuts to avoid). I love a spicy pork korrito! #celiac#DC
Wow, wow, wow. I took a chance on the #glutenfree fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collards at @busboysandpoets and yum!! So delicious. They promised the batter was gluten free and chicken was fried in a separate fryer. I didn't get sick. Highly recommend! #celiac#DC

Has anyone else had issues with @greenchef#GlutenFree meals. Just finished one and feeling terrible. I've been sickened at least once before. I think it's time to cancel. #GreenChef#celiac

“Researchers have carried out initial phase I safety trials of a glycosylation-modified antigen therapy in people with celiac disease—an autoimmune disease associated with eating wheat, barley, and rye—and phase I safety trials are underway in people with multiple sclerosis.” 🙏
@GFreeInDC Howdy! All materials contained in Salt Lick dry rub are considered gluten-free. However, gluten products are manufactured in the same facility. Hope that helps. Thank you!
