Ashleigh Fechney represented several Customs staff when we were sacked for not taking the jab. In my opinion, she was treated poorly by the Employment Relations Authority during that process, as was I. What a loss.

I just quit my job on the spot 🫠
Got called out in the staff meeting this afternoon (not by name) for implementing the compulsory structured maths programme and not teaching from the old one as the school has directed.

Found out they wanted to have a formal disciplinary meeting about my refusal to plan “correctly” too. So I quit.

Here's mine:

I forgive you, Cambridge movie theatre. You wouldn’t let myself or my family walk through those doors because we were unvaccinated. We could not sit down with other human beings in our community to watch a movie alongside of them.

I forgive you my favourite restaurant Alpino Restaurant for telling myself and my husband that we could not enter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Instead we had to wait outside on the footpath for our food to be delivered to us.

I forgive you Cambridge Pool for refusing my family entry so we could keep health and active, something that should have been a priority during a ‘health crisis’.

I forgive the librarian who shouted at me defensively when I questioned councils policy of only allowing vaccinated people entry.

I forgive the elderly woman in the garden centre wearing a surgical mask who yelled at me for not wearing a mask outside in the fresh air - even after they proven to be almost totally ineffective unless they were properly fitted N95 respirator masks. I forgive her embarrassed husband for his silence.

I forgive the wife of my favourite artist I had brought a beautiful painting from which I returned for maintenance after she dismissed her gardener on their lifestyle block because he choose to be unvaccinated, while not even asking to see my vaccination certificate, assuming I was.

I forgive my hairdresser who vocally disagreed with the mandates and vaccine passports, but who would still not risk his business by allowing me access to get a haircut.

I forgive all the business owners who stripped my family of the benefit of a free society because they were not free to make the choice of whether they excluded us or not.

I forgive my daughters friends for shunning her because she was unvaccinated, this even despite her losing her best friend and three of her sports team in a tragic car accident. And I forgive the hospital staff who wouldn’t let her in to see her badly injured roommate after the accident.

I forgive the national sports team my daughter once represented for not letting her train or play because of her vaccination status.

I forgive the concert and festival organisers who insisted on vaccine passports from healthy young people who were never at any risk from dying of Covid, then despite coercing many into taking the jab, had to cancel their concerts due to ‘Covid cases’. I forgive them for making my young adult children question their decision and experience stress and anxiety due to the decision they had made.

I forgive our friends who shunned us during the mandate period, who if we saw actively avoided the usual hug and kiss greeting and attempted to retain our friendship from a ‘safe’ distance.

I forgive our close friends who staged an intervention on our family in order to pressure us to be vaccinated.

I forgive my sister for acting morally superior because she was vaccinated and religiously wore a mask, and who initially demanded we take a Covid test before they joined us for Xmas, despite us all being healthy and well.

I initially forgave our legacy media for taking the money to survive during Covid, not realising by doing so meant they sold their souls.

I forgive all these people for having to follow a script that was set out by our authoritarian govt to follow, in some bizarre, coercive methodology, that was not based on science, nor on any evidence.

I forgive the way this demand to prove my family and I had complied with govt directives that made my adrenaline levels jump, as they do when things are unstable around you; in 2021, you could not tell who would confront you, or when, with that urgent, bullying question — when you happened to wander into a café or bar just wanting a coke, or some lunch while shopping, or to have a beer with your mates.

Not — expecting an inquisition.

Are you vaccinated?

But I am yet to forgive the politicians and health officials who inflicted the above on us, because they have never taken any responsibility for the havoc they caused. The lives they destroyed.

I will never forget the day I was having a wine with a close friend when she received the news her brother had committed suicide. Why? Because he travelled constantly for work and the ongoing two week isolation periods every time he entered the country totally screwed with his mental health to the point he just couldn’t cope anymore.

I will never forget my amazing Olympian niece, along with two others in her Olympic sports team, being vaccine injured to the extent they had to leave their sport and focus their attention on just surviving.

I cannot forgive our legacy media until they stop actively ignoring reporting on all the evidence that shows the lockdowns, the covid mandates, and the covid jab, were all ineffective. I will not forgive them while they refuse to question the govt, the ‘experts’, and our health officials on why they made the decisions they did, and why they are still recommending this dangerous jab to everyone from babies to pregnant women, despite the horrific rates of miscarriage Pfizer’s own trials shows occur.

I will never forget. And nor will many others.

Until we hear the apologies.

Without accountability, and commensurate levels of justice served to suit the crimes committed, there is nothing at all to ensure that the exact same crimes won’t be committed again. And that process of investigation, accountability, trials and sentencing, when a large part of our nation abused the another part systematically, is painful and severe but we can only hope this second part of the Covid enquiry helps us reach this conclusion.

This remains to be seen.

Following today's Supreme Court decision to uphold vaccine mandates for New Zealand Defence Force personnel (see previous post), it's interesting to note, the United States is taking the opposite approach:

"WASHINGTON (AP)

The Army said it has reenlisted three active duty soldiers who were discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine, as it works to implement President Donald Trump’s executive order that troops be rehired and given back pay.

However, the Army said Thursday that it hasn’t recently reenlisted more than 20 reservists, contradicting statements it made earlier this week. Instead, the correct total is three active duty soldiers and zero reservists.

All, however, are reaching out to former troops who were discharged for refusing to obey a [supposedly] lawful order to take the vaccine."
