And we move on to the next event - Panta Rhei Drought Workshop, opened up by @AnneVanLoon and @g_dibaldassarre. Interesting key note presentations and exciting group work awaits! @IAHS_AISH@uppsalauni
Final day of the #CNDSsummer school. Amazing discussions, lectures, dinners, and on the top of that it was a honor to be part of the DroughtMatics team.
I am joining this week to the #CNDSsummer school in Uppsala University. Yesterday, we had several multi-disiciolinary lectures about #DistasterRiskReduction. I am looking forward for group discussions that we will have a long the rest of the week.
From now on this will be the new level of cakes to celebrate new publications on @HydrologyWur at #WUR. Congratulations to Yvette Mellink and the other authors for the paper and thank you for the cake!
@LeoDiCaprio@mapbiomas This issue calls for more investment in science and in scientists, especially local ones. One of our best examples from Brazil is @LianaAmazonia - she was highlighted in @nytimes earlier today for outstanding work with Amazon and Fires https://t.co/ibAVCc7Hsr
An interesting opportunity for publications. Special issue on "Anthropogenic effects on hydrological #drought and its impact on society in drylands"
