@Girlfeelings666@TreyYingst The Liberator was crude, but cheap and effective, with the goal of being used briefly. The intention was to use it to take out enemy combatants and then steal their weapons, which were far more effective for large scale combat than the single shot pistol.
@Girlfeelings666@TreyYingst Arming civilians has been US Foreign Policy for over 80 years. During the Second World War, we provided French civilians (the Resistance) with explosives, ammunition, and firearms, including the Liberator pistol, a weapon designed expressly for being delivery by air drop.
@kohaku_room_ It comes from donut shops being one of the few places open late at night and serving food back in the day. Eventually the 24 hour diner surpassed it. Now the 24 hour diner and late night donut shop are both rare. Cops love 7/11 now.
@illnevercallitx The United States is not a democracy, it's a constitutional republic.
We have a right to peaceful protest. We do not have a right to impede the flow of traffic. We do not have a right to commit assault. We do not have a right to destroy government or private property.
@53gaDr3amca5t My favorite thing is watching police training videos or even policies procedurals from the 60s-70s when proper shooting stance for a handgun was to get down on one knee and cross your left arm perpendicular to your right arm to stabilize your shot.
@ThatchEffendi The Irish left has given up on the fight for reunification in exchange for complaining about everything, no matter how non-sensical. They have the mental capacity of a child raised in a vacuum.
@VitoComedy But he didn't design a flaw into the exhaust port, he designed a flaw into the reactor that would cause the chain reaction when hit by a torpedo. The rebels still had to find out how to reach the reactor when they got the plans back to Yavin IV
