🟣Waverley Road (Wootton Bassett x Mistress Oz) justified the strong market support, proving a class above when breaking his maiden in the first at Nowra today.

The 3YO gelding showed sharp early gate speed before @keaganlatham positioned him perfectly in the box seat, where he travelled in a lovely rhythm throughout. When asked to let down, he quickly put the race beyond doubt, surging clear to score by four lengths, eased down before the post.

Savvy Hallie confirmed her standing as one of the leading 3YO fillies in the country, defeating $1.50 favourite Apocalyptic in the G2 Light Fingers Stakes last Saturday.

The $1m Inglis Sprint at Flemington on February 28 is now firmly on the radar for Savvy Hallie (Hellbent), according to her managing owner @benny_bkrace, as is possibly the G1 Surround Stakes on the same day in Sydney.
