Dear Jimin,
I've wanted to put these feelings into words for a long time, but somehow, every time I try, words never feel like enough.
I've been a fan of yours for 5 years now and what keeps me here isn't just your voice, your dancing or the incredible performer everyone sees on stage. It's the person behind all of that. I've watched you grow, change, work harder and continue moving forward even when things weren't easy. And somehow, through all those years, you have never stopped being someone I feel proud to support.
As a fanboy, there is something really special about being able to look at another man and say "I admire you" without feeling the need to explain it. I admire your artistry, your discipline, your sensitivity, your sense of humor and the way you pour so much of yourself into what you do. You have shown me that being soft doesn't mean being weak and that caring deeply about your craft is its own kind of strength.
I've seen you give everything you have on stage, sometimes with a level of intensity that makes me wonder how you still have enough energy to walk afterward. I've watched you turn the smallest moments into something memorable, whether you're performing in front of thousands of people or simply being your goofy, adorable self.
But more than anything, I hope you know that you don't have to constantly prove your worth.
You don't have to be perfect for me to be proud of you. You don't have to have the biggest stage, the most lines, the most attention, or everyone's approval. I'll still be here. Your value has never depended on how loudly other people recognize it.
I've watched people misunderstand you, underestimate you, criticize you and sometimes treat you unfairly. None of that has changed what I see when I look at you. I see someone who kept going. Someone who continued to work, continued to create and continued to become a better artist without losing the kindness that makes you who you are.
Your journey has given me so many memories that I'll carry with me for a long time. Your music has been there during good days, bad days, boring days and those random days when I just needed something that could make me smile.
So, from one loyal fanboy to the artist I admire so much, thank you.
Thank you for the music. Thank you for the performances. Thank you for the laughs, the chaos, the tiny smiles, the ridiculous moments, and all the times you've reminded me why I became a fan in the first place.
Please keep dancing. Keep singing. Keep creating. Keep being weird and goofy when you want to be. Keep chasing the things that make you happy.
And when things get overwhelming, I hope you remember that there are people out here who aren't only cheering for Jimin the superstar. We're cheering for Park Jimin, the person.
I'll be here for the long run.
Always proud of you. Always in your corner.
With love from one very loyal fanboy,
