Guy Young at #ASH20 discusses a case study of man with FVIII inhibitor who had 1 knee replaced in 2012 on BPAs and second knee replaced in 2018 on Emicizumab with supplemental BPAs. In latter case, required less BPAs, less blood units transfused and cost was half of earlier case

CREDENCE (canagliflozin) also stopped early for showing benefit, dapagliflozin is now the second antidiabetic drug to show benefit in a renal outcomes trial.
