If anyone has listened to TMA, Spirit is based off of The Distortion, mostly while they were Michael, but also some Orsinov. Its not a TMA oc but its heavily inspired.
- you would be foolish to comfort me. I suppose that's what I'll have written on your back when you look away.
βββ β¦ hmph, I would not recommend comforting someone who says they are not there. because you may not be there soon after. '
her crooked grin split into a roaring laughter. the creases of her mouth too spread out for a regular face. her eyes never closed, the irises simply swallowed by her sclera.
' oh , how funny. I will let you choose whether you believe it was real , but if it were-
They'd frown. Perhaps that was a joke to her, but in their opinion. . .it almost sounded eerie. . .and depressing.
Domaning hand used as a rest for their cheeks as they'd sigh.
β I see. That sounds sad. Yet you're here now aren't you. I can see you. I can hear you. +
' funΛ * well , I told you a story , I think you would owe me one in kind. perhaps of yourself , or whoever you want me to think you are. '
her form stood, stretching slightly. arms reaching out and seemingly extending further than they should, her neck twisting similarly
@HELLFIRESLUST a grin at his response.
"took far longer than I was hoping to get someone who gets my jokes. funny little story, is it not ?'
she leaned closer towards him, gazing upwards and taking notes of the tattoos lining his frame.
- until each day I realized I was hardly there either. I cannot cry for him anymore, for he is there now, or was there. he left, I'm now left upon the stair, please look at me, even though I am not there.'
she finished with a cacophony of laughter, as if she told him a joke.
' Β‘ fear this is a short story ΚΏ
Λ it simply goes that there was once a little man , who was not upon the stare. I saw him one day, and asked him to leave. he didn't respond, for he wasn't there. I cried day after day, please leave me be, but only empty air responded.
β I have not. This is new to me.
. . .
Sure. β
Hesitant. They felt digits twitch and inch closer towards their blades. Fear, her softness silent yet demanding placed heavy uncertainty; yet they'd not waver and give her the opportunity.
Within the fear was curiosity
her lithe younger frame resting upon the air itself, leaning back with her legs crossed over one another. a keen eye would notice that the black irises had shrunk, the white sclera growing further.
' ... do you now ? my gaze is far from readable , but perhaps you can enlighten me. I have shared a story with you, share one with me. tell me what you can read from my eyes.'
her speech remains constantly cryptic , pursed black lips curling into a smile.
@HELLFIRESLUST and his kingdom crumbled beneath the weight of his absence. it was the queen whom he betrayed himself for that ended it all, slipping poison into his drink. '
@HELLFIRESLUST he had been given a gift , by his God. rings allowing him power unrivaled and wisdom beyond his years. yet he still wanted more. he covorted with queens and princesses of other nations, pleading fiety to God's of other lands. his power was stripped for this,
; 'hm, the crooked man sat within his crooked house. he once walked a crooked mile towards his crooked stile , there he found a sixpence , and gave a wide grin. he bought a crooked cat , and the rest should not be spoken. '
there was a low chuckle from her.
Such a complicated and sophisticated speech, it almost gets her wet just thinking about it. And such a wonderful voice to be noted.
" Oh dear, could you put it in a crooked man's terms?
I am afraid my old age won't help me with figuring out such a complicated speech pattern!"
βββ β¦ ' the tale of Antagonish , the man who was not . an old tale , but a short one.
would you like to here it ? '
π½er could put ice in a man's blood , her voice naught but a whisper yet it was clearer than any other noise.
β Have I heard ? β
Mimicking with a confused tone. Their pink orbs hidden udder fluttering lashes while staring at the stranger. Something about their nature tugged at them to look away at her, as almost she was danger personified and provoking animalistic needs of survival
