Last week FROGS had a visit to school where we joined the fantastic Year 6 members of the Eco committee to complete an Eco audit of the grounds. We are very excited about how we can support and work with school. Watch this space for updates.... ππ±
Our Y6 tag rugby team secured a place at the SY School Games finals after coming top of the Sheffield league. They played brilliantly finishing in the top 10 teams in South Yorkshire. A huge well done to Team Greenhill who were resilient and showed excellent sportsmanship.
History came to life today in LKS2. Mr Egypt taught the children all about life and death in Ancient Egyptian times. The children practised some traditional dancing and have held artefacts that are 4000 years old! πͺπ¬
Our foundation stage children absolutely loved their Gingerbreadman workshop today. Lots of role playing, story telling, crafting, working as a team and most of all FUN!
What an memorable night yesterday for some of our amazing Greenhill pupils to be flag bearers at the Word Wheelchair Rugby Cup held at the EIS. I chatted with some of the children today who said it was an experience they will never forget. 𦽠π π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ π«π·

A fantastic staff training session with @Digimap4Schools. Our minds were blown by some of the tools that we know the children will love exploring. We look forward to building regular use into our Geography curriculum but also enhancing other areas too with this fantastic tool. πΊ
What an amazing way to end the half term in UKS2 by exploring Longshaw in the Peak District. Children put their map reading skills to the test as part of their Geography learning. What beautiful weather they had too! βοΈ π

Materials across school is proving very exciting! Testing to see if items can bend, stretch, squash or twist in Y2, observing liquids in LKS2 to see if they all freeze at the same temperature and in UKS2 a focus on dissolving and diffusion using skittles
