My (v cognitively intact) 97 yo inpt was nervous to try a recommended med. I tried my best to convince her it was safe & needed. She seemed reassured. When I left she said, “Have a good life my dear!” No one’s ever told me that before, & coming from a centenarian made my day.

Had a nice 30min Lyft ride with a Mexican driver. We spoke entirely in Spanish. It came up that I’m a GI doc. He asked me abt his hemorrhoids. At the end I walked 2 my building, called out, “Mucho gusto!” &he yelled in front of others, “GRACIAS POR EL TIPS DE ME HEMORROIDES!”😂☠️
