@T1223_howard to make an animated GIF, each layer is one frame in the animation, and set it to Image⇒Mode⇒Indexed then export as GIF. You can add (50ms) after any layer name to make that layer visible for 50ms in the animation.
What’s your favourite add-on or plug-in or script or filter for use with #GIMP ?
If you could choose up to three, what would they be?
Can you post an image of the result?

@yoyounpopboy Hi, sorry, we monitor Mastodon and GNOME dicourse and IRC and discord more than twitter...

The MS Store lost settings & other add-ons on updates.
The fix needs a recent Windows 11.
If you are on an older version of Windows you can still install from https://t.co/4gdBO97XYU. See the post for details.

@buxato_life@lgworld Our AI policy is for code included in GIMP. There are plenty of third-party AI plugins for GIMP, however, and some of these can make selections or masks or whatever.
@_Cyr4x_@9to5linux Are you looking for inpainting? GIMP has had it for many years (before Photoshop in fact) but through plug-ins such as g'mic or resynthesizer.
