@hotchickendaves I’m used to you having good portion sizes, but this new dish feels like false advertising. The chicken nuggets are tiny, so the sliders are weak
@newknitter21@unusual_whales New Jersey (1981): armed "Task Force" members at minority precincts coincided with a win of only 1,800 votes; cited as primary factor in suppressing the urban vote.
2022 study shows that voters intimidated once are 16% less likely to attempt to vote in the following election
@Cdub470@newknitter21@unusual_whales Literally either AI or 100% gone brainwashed. There’s no getting through to people like @Cdub470 because they ignore history.
If this idiot wasn’t brainwashed, he would look at historical examples:
@newknitter21@unusual_whales Mississippi Plan (1875): armed violence at polls resulted in turnout in five Black-majority counties dropped to nearly zero.
Jim Crow Era (1960s): Intense intimidation at polling sites in Mississippi resulted in only 6.7% of eligible Black voters being registered by 1964.
@Antunes1 Has anybody put together old tweets from Trump about releasing the list, and shown them alongside tweets like this? Isn’t this very easy to prove he is going against what he campaigned on?
@AmericaRus2024@unusual_whales Show this chart as per-household and you’ll see drastically more hours worked per household since 50 years ago. Think of the productivity gains per household from both parents working plus technology advancements.
We should all be working 20 hours instead of maxing corpo profit
@HashemGhaili How did you get the same characters to be in scenes longer than 8 seconds? Every time I try to extend of jump to with the same characters, the audio is gone in the 2nd clip. Any clip that uses a reference from a previous is bad quality or no audio…
@kylenabecker Making $50k per year, I can’t afford a flat 20% tax, might as well go on food stamps instead. But if I make $250k per year, 20% will not affect my lifestyle. If I make $1M per year, take 50% and I still won’t be affected from the perspective of quality of life
@OCpatriot_@kylenabecker It cannot be flat.
A 99% tax means zero productivity because it is not worth it for anybody. A 1% tax would make everyone happy, but not enough money comes in.
To optimize productivity, you find that right % per tax bracket, to optimize federal income vs worker motivation.
@Lawlady99 @ScottAdamsSays@elonmusk@GavinNewsom He didn’t, this tweet is purposefully misleading. He banned deep fakes ahead of elections, so that misleading fake ads can’t be used to manipulate the election…
@AmerEcoDyn@davidleavitt@elonmusk The 5 year rule is for green card holders, aka legal immigrants. Illegal immigrants cannot get citizenship until they have been granted a green card first.
Stop spreading lies
@locobananana @Grezzo001@BehizyTweets@nayibbukele The explanation is that votes are reported in batches as counties finalize their counts. Large urban counties take longer to count and report those results later in the evening. Large urban counties are also usually majorly democrat.
@giosaia@InternetH0F The problem isn’t that it’s basic math, it’s that it’s a mix of math and english punctuation. So the trick is missing “5!” As factorial and just thinking it’s an exclamation
@CALNCOLE @TaraBull808 This is an undiscreditable fake headline… claims a clause was included but this clause is hidden. So you can’t find the clause to prove this claim, and can just claim “it’s there but it’s hidden”
@PicturesFoIder This is just missing context. The rest of the lesson is probably teaching how to offset the numbers to make one of them 10 for easier math.
The answer here is 8+2+7 just like the graphic shows. 8+2=10, 9-2=7, 10+7=17
@DillonS05248300@maxarus@unusual_whales We could build better infrastructure to center ourselves around mass transit. We could also become more plant-based to reduce cow farts and the energy it costs per lb of meat.
But we also know corporations need to be foot this change, rather than guilt-trip the lower classes
