First HR with the Chili Peppers tonight. Wish we could have seen it.

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

Last year @MercerBaseball DH/P Braydon Kersey would have led this list. Kersey would go on to earn All America honors while hitting 21HRs in a breakout season. This year @SamfordBaseball SO OF Cason Hill paces the SOCON w/ 9 summer HRs (29 games) Hill is a must watch name in 2027

[Greg Jenkins @GJenkinsGSJX2]

Gabe was home a whopping day and a half and now is off to play with the Chili Peppers. Stand up double.

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

Exciting @VMIbaseco SO OF Gabe Jenkins continues to excel this summer collecting his 5th 3 hit game on 7/15 (13th multi hit game). Jenkins average is now at .389 giving him an excellent chance to finish over .400 for the summer.Expect to see Jenkins at the top of the lineup in 27

[Greg Jenkins @GJenkinsGSJX2]

Very proud of Gabe for making the ALL OVL 2026 team.

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

Rising SO INF/OF Cason Hill of @SamfordBaseball paces our @SoConSports summer baseball coverage with 6HRs in 23 games. @MercerBaseball C Dylan Lapointe blasted 5HRs in only 17 games of action. A quartet of @VMIbaseco players have gone yard multiple times paced by Brycen Hamilton.

.@UNCGBaseball 1B Jake Mueller paces our @SoConSports summer ⚾️ coverage hitting a blistering .461 in 21 Valley League games. @VMIbaseco Gabe Jenkins is up to .379 after another 3 hit game tonight. Jenkins has all the tools to be the next VMI INF/OF to get the call in 2 years.

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

CONGRATULATIONS to All Time @VMIbaseco Great Grayson Fitzwater who was selected by the @whitesox in the 13th Round today. Fitzwater is the 1st VMI position player selected since 2018. This is an exciting day to see this young man’s dream realized. VERY HAPPY! Go @whitesox

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

@mlbdraftleague Gabe Jenkins continues his torrid summer as he works all parts of the field. It has been a tremendous summer for Jenkins thus far. One of the best offensive summers I have EVER covered of a VMI player. Very excited for a SOPHOMORE SURGE 📈.An intriguing under the radar prospect🥳

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

Cole Raile continued his rampage in CPL action blasting his 3rd HR in 2 days. The Prince of Pain delivered two hits including an RBI triple in @mlbdraftleague action. Gabe Jenkins continued his torrid summer reaching 3 times (2 hits & BB) increasing his batting average to .359😎

[Otis Bunkmeyer Jr., CFA @OtisBunkmeyer]

OF/1B Gabe Jenkins @VMIbaseco erupted for 3 hits including his 2nd HR of the summer on Tuesday night. It was Jenkins 4th multi hit effort in 11 games. The exciting 6’3 210LB prospect has been spraying the ball to all fields and has appeared to unlock major pull-side power.
