Hey, Idk if this is a pointless pursuit here but I wish to speak to someone who’s orphaned at a young age (adult though) & unmarried too.
People on my list, pls connect me to someone. Thanks.
I have never seen an institute administration as swift and efficient as NLUJ; for the past few days we had been witnessing a progression of guys at 11:30PM passing through the lane behind girls hostel- passing abusive remarks and sitting outside the college boundary wall.

@itssynecdoche@michaelsnook A LOT of everything is indeed harmful, & anything taken in moderation is harmless. The threshold of moderation varies for all micro nutrients, which you believe it or not, is quite low for sugar.

@itssynecdoche@michaelsnook No food should be demonised, but negative effects of certain food, especially those that misleadingly promote everyday consumption of it as ‘healthy’ need to be called out, which I think certain people are doing. It’s no revelation or newfound ‘discovery’, but consumer awareness.
@drumamehta Once you get these right, all other things like lifting heavy weights, visible abs, bigger glutes, or just aesthetics in general will follow suit by itself. Take it slow & easy because fitness is not a 30 day challenge but a lifetime endeavour, so there’s no rush. Good luck!
@drumamehta Slow & consistent is good! Special focus on your existing weaknesses- places your muscles are tight & need releasing hence; places with pre-existing injuries (if any), or just muscles that have been inactive or underused till date, those are priority. +
@CurlyStory Brilliant! Remember that your body is unique, as is everyone else’s, hence your journey would be too. Be kind to yourself and enjoy the process. Onwards and upwards, ma’am. Good luck!
9 truths about fitness I wish I knew from day 1 (a 🧵):
1. The four pillars of fitness are speed, endurance, strength & flexibility. Whatever regime of fitness you choose, make sure you work on all 4. You’ll become unstoppable!
9. For someone in their late 20s, our bodies have already started degenerating. The sooner your start your fitness journey, the more you slow down this process. Do it for your older selves to remain disease and pain free. No bigger flex than that then.
