Thank you to everyone that donated bras to the Gatley KnitWits June community collection. We had so many, when I took them to the collection point for @GirlguidingCB our bag nearly filled the collection bin! Great result #volunteer#community#gatley#stockport#brabank#knitting
Each meeting we get treated to lovely cakes by Jenny. This week it was chocolate orange…. Yum!!! Big thanks to Jenny for her kind generosity and great baking skills!

Look at this incredible knitted blanket that was donated this month, it’s a work of art and took two people to hold it up. Each square is a different Rupert scene. #knitting#rupert#stockport#gatley#cheadle#volunteer

Knitting/crochet is a great hobby to take up in 2023. Men and women find it a relaxing and rewarding pastime (although like any new skill you’ll need a bit of perseverance to get going initially).
Hope to see you there! Details on Facebook https://t.co/Hc3uZSZifR
The first knitting club meeting of 2023 will be on the 14th January. We meet the second and final Saturday of each month, 2-4pm at Gatley United Reformed Church hall (on Elm road behind Costa).
We look forward to catching up with everyone and new members are very welcome.
