spent half my #VandeBharat flt killing mosquitos. You worry so much about covid, you skip over mosquito borne illnesses which are more deadly? To not serve hot water for children formula? To not give blankets/pillows that could be washed?

Through security. Shocked that everything is closed. No food options. There is a coffee shop and wh Smith small one opened. Lights are off parts, but so is the air!

Walked to emigration. Basic lights on, some air circulation but still stifling in the airport. Emigration took long then usual. Then through the standard security check.

Got in the door. Suitcases are x-rayed. Then to air India counters. Got the boarding passes. Bags then have to be taken and dropped off by passengers.

Declaration form designed for immigration, so the questions seem a bit nonsensical. Air India staff rechecking passport and Visa/lpr status before allowing entrance into airport. At door, health services with thermal temp and review of the forms.

Just made it to New Delhi airport, starting our journey back to Chicago @airindiain with the vaande Bharat.
Got to airport 4 hrs before. Not to much rush. + Confusion on indemnity and the immigration self declaration health forms at the door. Makes no sense as we are emigrating

2)how early did you get there/folks should get there?
3) Drive time from meerut?
4) did they give any food/blankets in the flt, or barebone?
5) bag issues?
5) thermal screening, outside / inside?

was there much to do in Delhi airport or was everything pretty much closed down?

Plz help us @Uppolice to provide the inter-state pass. Noone is ready to help in given the pass.Even S.O. is also to deny to create the pass. We will travel in urgent basis from kanpur to Delhi Airport for USA flights. We already apply online bt no-one is responsing.@DMKanpur

There are many standard NRIs who booked their tickets from Delhi but unble to travel to Delhi airport even with E-pass. All states closed their borders. No inter state travel allowed to anyone. We need connecting flights to reach Delhi airport. #startdomesticflights for NRIs.
