BREAKING🚨: rape gang in Rhyl been found guilty of rape children

Today (3rd August 2026) at Caernarfon Crown Court, members of a grooming gang operating in Rhyl were found guilty after a three-month trial.

The convicted men:
- Mustafa Iqbal (ringleader)
- Mohamed Arshad
- Ziaullah Badshah
- Jaswinder Singh

They were found guilty of conspiring to traffic teenage girls and supplying them with drugs in exchange for sex.

Mustafa Iqbal was found guilty of raping Child B and sexually assaulting Child C. He was also found guilty of raping Child A, a 16-year-old who lived in a care home.

Described as a drug dealer, he supplied her with crack cocaine and cannabis in return for sex. In one case a girl was handcuffed and raped.

Ziaullah Badshah admitted kissing Child B and Child C, and on later occasions having sex with Child B at his home. He and Arshad were both convicted of raping one of the victims.

Sentencing will take place on 25th September.

Our thoughts are with the parents of the children and the children affected.

They showed incredible bravery coming forward.
